Date What changed
2026-11-07 Privacy page: the legal ground for handling emails you send, a 30-day limit after the last reply, your rights to a copy, a fix, deletion or an objection, and where to complain (your national data protection authority in Europe, the ICO in the UK); the layout and color names in the storage table now match the switches. Insurance: the two-year split now uses the estimator's own Ohio lines, so extraction, graft and scan are $1,287 of $5,000 and the plan pays $2,119 over two years, not $2,450; with a waiting period it pays $1,500. When a plan excludes implants, the planner points to what an alternate benefit clause can still pay. The estimator says when its figure includes the CT scan, and on a phone the chart marks which side is your right and your left. KFF's June 2026 review of Medicare Advantage plans replaces the December 2025 brief on three pages. Implant, bridge or denture: the price comparison says it rests on two surveys, and the molar table names where the $4,000 comes from.
2026-11-07 Snap-in dentures: the upper jaw is now priced on four implants and the lower on two, after two reviews of upper-jaw studies; the full-arch calculator lets you pick lower, upper or both jaws, and the Texas example for both jaws went from about $13,660 to $17,600 on day one. In the FSA example, an FSA election always skips Social Security and Medicare tax, so the real cost of $3,600 is about $2,492, and the payroll box stays ticked for an FSA; the grace period is explained next to the carryover. HSA: the six-month Medicare look-back. Medicare: Part B and Part A costs told apart. Smaller fixes: the snap-on denture line, the root canal path (ask about a build-up or post), and clearer country and state labels.
2026-11-07 Longer guides, each with a new worked example you can repeat in the calculators. Why quotes differ: the three causes of the price spread side by side, a sinus-lift quote in Arizona, and the survey's sedation and anesthesia lines. Veneers: four front teeth in California, and bonding, veneer and crown prices together. Dentures: both jaws in Mississippi, and what the "one plate or two" wording does to the total. Bone grafts: a California extraction with a socket graft, ridge rebuilding and a table of waiting times. Snap-in dentures: what the consensus statements say about two implants, and both jaws in Texas over 20 years. Full-arch: your own upkeep assumption in Ohio, and four implants against six. Insurance: a waiting-period example and the plan clauses the ADA defines (June 2026). Implant, bridge or denture: what a plan's alternate benefit does, and the cost of saving the tooth instead. Medicare: the full list of medical exceptions, KFF's June 2026 look at plans, a $1,000-cap example and low-cost care through health centers and dental schools. HSA and FSA: an FSA election for a second stage and HSA rules after Medicare. Before signing: monthly payments at the CFPB's typical rate and the FDA's advice after treatment. Quote breakdown: what later crown repairs cost. Seven new questions in the FAQ.
2026-11-07 Germany: the statutory subsidy for 2027 added beside 2026 (50% of the standard treatment, 60% or 65% with the bonus booklet, from the law in Bundesgesetzblatt 2026 I No. 228), in the table and in the calculator's note. The Australian CHOICE figures now carry their year (March 2023 article, ADA 2022 fee survey) and healthdirect its review date. Where a page credited a lender's cost table, its source link now opens the site's own sources list. Quotes brought back to the exact words of the source: the denture plate wording, Stiftung Warentest on bone build-up, the FDA on healing time. The CFPB warning on deferred interest now says what the bureau says: an unpaid balance at the deadline means interest on the whole purchase, not on what is left. Pages name the calculator's real detail levels (Details, Full breakdown). On a phone the tooth chart shows one jaw at a time, with a switch, so every tooth stays easy to tap. Every page now carries the list of what the app can do.
2026-11-06 2027 HSA limits ($4,500 / $9,000, Rev. Proc. 2026-24) and 2027 health FSA limits ($3,500, carryover $700, IRS release IR-2026-133) shown next to 2026. Veneer prices credited to the 2023 Synchrony study, as the source's footnote says. The three per-tooth lines are labeled for what they are (specialist, overall and dearest-city medians), and a typed quote gets a neutral comparison instead of a verdict. The $2,143 single-implant line is marked "scope not stated", next to an explanation of the $4,344 endosteal line. For countries where fewer than four clinics publish a price, the figure is a "rough middle" of what was found; Mexico updated to US$1,300 to US$2,000 (rough middle about US$1,500). Germany shown as a published floor. Treatment abroad: no saving is shown until a flight and a hotel are entered, the preset destination fits your home country or stays empty, and the home page's travel section reuses the teeth, state and price chosen above. KFF figures dated, with a note that no newer dollar figures exist.
2026-10-31 New page and calculator for treatment abroad: an implant quote at home against one abroad, in any currency, with both trips, hotel, days off and a repair reserve; public cover rules for five countries; implant prices for 16 more countries from surveys or clinics' own price pages, labeled by kind; country choice and the tooth chart for every country on the home estimator.
2026-10-30 First public build: tap-the-teeth estimator scaled by state, with extras and plan coverage; state price map; 20-year comparison of implant, bridge and dentures for one gap or a whole arch; dental plan, HSA, FSA and tax deduction planner; veneer calculator. Sources read October 30, 2026.
